Van Gilse donkere basterdsuiker is een uniek Nederlands product geproduceerd volgens Nederlandse traditie. De bereiding van Basterdsuiker is sinds het eind van de 19de eeuw niet wezenlijk veranderd. De specifieke fijne structuuur ontstaat door suikerstroop te mengen met fijne kristalsuiker.

De donkere caramel geeft donkere bastersuiker een heerlijke smaak en aroma. Ideaal om mee te bakken, op je boterham of in de yoghurt. Ook lekker op pannenkoeken en poffertjes!

Van Gilse dark soft sugar (caster sugar) is a unique Dutch product produced according to Dutch tradition. The making of this dark caster sugar hasn’t really changed since the end of the 19th century. The characteristic, fine structure originates by mixing sugar syrup with fine granulated sugar.

The dark caramel gives the dark caster sugar a beautiful taste and aroma. Great for baking, on your sandwich or in yoghurt. Also tasty on pancakes and poffertjes (mini Dutch pancakes)!
