Van Gilse witte basterdsuiker is een uniek Nederlands product geproduceerd volgens Nederlandse traditie. De bereiding van Basterdsuiker is sinds het eind van de 19de eeuw niet wezenlijk veranderd. De specifieke fijne structuuur ontstaat door suikerstroop te mengen met fijne kristalsuiker.

De blanke stroop geeft witte bastersuiker een heerlijke smaak en aroma. De structuur van witte basterdsuiker is zeer fijn waardoor deze snel oplost. Ideaal om mee te bakken, op je boterham, beschuit, of in de yoghurt. Ook lekker op pannenkoeken en poffertjes!

Van Gilse white soft sugar (caster sugar) is a unique Dutch product produced according to Dutch tradition. The making of this dark caster sugar hasn’t really changed since the end of the 19th century. The characteristic, fine structure originates by mixing sugar syrup with fine granulated sugar.

The white syrup gives the white caster sugar a beautiful taste and aroma. The structure of white caster sugar is very fine which makes it quickly dissolvable. Great for baking, on your sandwich, beschuit (rusk) or in yoghurt. Also tasty on pancakes and poffertjes (mini Dutch pancakes)!
