Met Koopmans Boerencake bak je een cake met een volle en romige smaak.

De Boerencake is een complete mix. Je hoeft alleen boter, eieren en water toe te voegen.

Make a delicious Dutch treat with Koopmans Farmers Cake mix. Koopmans  Farmers Cake is authentically buttery and creamy in taste.

Ingredients required to make Koopmans Dutch Farmers cake (Boerencake):
1 pack of Koopmans Farmers cake
200 g butter (room temperature)
4 eggs (room temperature)
1 table spoon of water (room temperature)
Springform cake tin with a diameter of 30 cm
Electric mixer
Preheat oven to approximately 160 degrees (150°C fan-forced) with the grate just below the middle of the oven.

Grease the spring form with butter/ margarine/baking spray.
Use an electric mixer with to beat the butter soft and creamy in a bowl.
Add the cakemix, water and eggs to the bowl altogether.
Mix on the lowest setting of your mixer for one minute until the mixture becomes smooth.
Then mix on the highest setting of your mixer for approximately three minutes to air rate mixture.
Transfer the mixture into the cake tin and bake for approximately 60-70 minutes until cooked and golden brown.
Allow the farmer’s cake to cool for about 3-4 minutes before removing the cake tin. Continue to let it cool for another 45 minutes.

Tip: check if the cake is cooked by inserting a satay skewer in the middle of the cake around the time the cake is cooked. When this comes out dry and clean the cake is cooked.
Make the cake extra tasty by adding coloured or chocolate icing.
