Met Koopmans mix voor Romige Appeltaart maak je eenvoudig een heerlijke traktatie met een knapperige bodem en een heerlijk romige vulling met daaroverheen appels. Vervang ook eens de appels voor rabarber, rood fruit of peer. Je kunt ook een roomtaart maken door een laag slagroom op het banketbakkersroom te spuiten.
Vegan optie: vervang de boter door margarine en gebruik sojamelk/sojaroom in plaats van melk.
With Koopmans mix for Creamy Apple Pie you can easily make a delicious treat with a crispy base and a delicious creamy filling topped with apples. Also replace the apples with rhubarb, red fruit or pear. You can also make a cream cake by piping a layer of whipped cream on top of the pastry cream.
Vegan option: replace the butter with margarine and use soy milk/soy cream instead of milk.

1 pack of Koopmans Creamy Apple Pie 125 g butter or margarine 125 ml whipped cream 200 ml milk 1 tbsp water 3-4 apples (Elstar or Jonagold) 1 tsp cinnamon 30 g sugar
Prepare Preheat the oven to 180 degrees-electric (170 degrees fan forced) and place the rack slightly below the center of the oven. Grease the springform pan with butter or use baking spray.
Prepare dough Gently stir 125 g butter in a mixing bowl. Add the apple pie mix and 1 spoon of water. Knead the whole with a mixer with dough hooks or by hand into a cohesive dough. Line the bottom of the greased springform pan with the dough and make a raised edge of 1.5 cm.
Prepare the filling Mix 125 ml whipped cream with 200 ml milk in a clean mixing bowl and add the pastry cream mix. Mix for 2 minutes with the mixer on the lowest setting. Spread the pastry cream over the base with a spoon or spatula, leaving 1 cm free at the edge so that the pastry cream does not bake over the edge.
Peel the apples and remove the core, first cut the apple into quarters, then each piece into thirds again. Divide the apples in layers (see front of package) over the cream, starting on the outside. Make cinnamon sugar by mixing the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the apple slices.
Baking Bake the cake for 50 minutes until done and golden brown. Leave the cake in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes longer if the apples are still a bit pale. Let the cake cool for at least 1 hour before cutting it.
