Een perfecte balans van aroma’s en smaken die jouw mosselmaaltijd onvergetelijk maken.

The mussel herbs from Van Beekum Spices are specially composed to take your mussel dishes to the next level. This unique mix contains small pieces of leek, onion, parsnip, white cabbage and bell pepper, combined with fresh flavours such as parsley, chives, thyme, pepper and bay leaf. The result? A perfect balance of aromas and flavours that make your mussels unforgettable.

Suggested Use of mussel herb mix

Wash the mussels thoroughly and remove any damaged ones; Add 10 to 15 grams of the mussel herb mix  to your mussel pan per kilo of mussels; Cook the mussels in a layer of water, white wine or beer for extra depth of flavour; Stir lightly during cooking to distribute the herbs evenly; Let the mussels cook until all the shells are open (approximately 5-7 minutes). Serve the mussels immediately with crispy baguette and a homemade sauce, such as aioli or herb butter!
