Karbonade is in Nederland misschien wel het bekendste stukje varkensvlees. Nederlanders kopen afkomstig zijn van het varken, maar vergeet ook de t-bone steak van het rund of een lamsrack niet, dit zijn ook karbonades.
Verstegen karbonade mix heeft een fijne kruidige smaak met een hint van nootmuskaat. Gebruik: Wrijf 1 kg karbonade in met 30 g mix (circa 2 eetlepels) en laat het even intrekken. Bak of grill de karbonade in olie of boter rondom mooi bruin en gaar.
