Herring pieces in tangy allspice, onion and carrot marinade.

The delicious pickled herrings are supplied by Klädesholmen Seafood AB, a collaboration between four Klädesholmen fishing families who have lived and worked the coast of West Sweden since 1859.  The fish are then left to mature in barrels, then cut into bite size pieces and stored in a secret recipe marinade (pickling sauce) before before being carefully seasoned with allspice,  onion and carrot in brine.
